Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of anvil-mc.com and the associated application (the "App" or "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

The Service allows users to:

  • Run Minecraft servers locally on Android devices
  • Expose servers to the public internet using FRPS-based tunneling provided through our infrastructure
  • Discover compatible mods for their selected server JAR via the Modrinth API, with links to download mods directly from Modrinth's website
  • Deliver advertisements and collect anonymized usage statistics to support and improve the Service.

Mod listings are provided for informational purposes only. We do not host, distribute, or take responsibility for any third-party mod content. Downloading and installing mods is done at your own discretion and risk.

As-Is Basis

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee error-free, uninterrupted, or secure operation. Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and security protection.

Security Acknowledgement

By using tunneling, your local device becomes accessible from the public internet. This may expose your local network to security threats. You are solely responsible for securing your configuration.

Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or network compromise, even if informed of the possibility of such damages.

User Responsibility

You are fully responsible for how you use the Service, the servers you host, and compliance with all applicable local and international laws.

The Service is rated PEGI 3 and is not specifically directed at children under 13. Users under 13 should only use the Service under parental supervision. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data may contact us to request its deletion.

Acceptable Use

Prohibited activities include hosting illegal content, performing network attacks, bypassing security controls, or abusing our infrastructure.

Paid Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law
  • Features may change or be discontinued
  • Active subscriptions may grant an 'Ad-Free' experience, removing third-party advertisements from the App interface.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for Terms violations, misuse, or infrastructure constraints.

Third-Party Advertisements

The Service may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks including Google AdMob, Unity Ads (Unity Technologies), and Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms). These networks may use device identifiers to deliver personalized ads. We do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for the content, products, or services promoted in these advertisements. Any interactions or transactions with advertisers are solely between you and the third party. See our Privacy Policy for details on how ad data is collected and how to manage your preferences.

Non-Affiliation

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang AB, Microsoft, or Modrinth. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. Modrinth is an independent platform operated by Rinth, Inc.; mod listings displayed in the app are sourced from the Modrinth public API and are subject to Modrinth's own terms and policies.

Legal & Privacy

Personal data is processed per our Privacy Policy. EU/EEA users are presented with an explicit consent mechanism via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any personalized tracking or advertising occurs, in compliance with GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the UMP dialog in app settings. Outside the EEA, analytics and ad personalization are active by default. All users retain the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
