How we ranked them
The math is simple:
Value score = HostScore (PTS) ÷ price (USD)
A phone scoring 450 PTS that costs $200 (2.25 pts/$) is a far better hosting deal than an 800 PTS flagship that costs $850 (0.94 pts/$). For context, most current flagships land between 0.5 and 1.2 pts per dollar. We screened the S, A, and B tier leaderboards (300+ devices) for every model that could plausibly compete on value, then cross-checked multiple price sources per finalist and used typical market prices rather than the single cheapest listing we could find. Everything on this list clears roughly 1.5+ at typical prices, and most of it clears 2.0 if you shop smart.
